Peter Walks on Water, Jesus Feeds 5000 People - Matthew 14:8-33

April 22nd, 2008 by cheukharrington

By Matthew Robert Payne There was heavy dew on the ground and a mist had settled and we were just up chatting when the messengers came to the door and knocked. Andrew got up and opened the door and two of Johns followers came in with a sad and grave look. We all sat down and they told us that John had just been beheaded and was dead and then they began to weep and ask the Rabbi what were they to do. The whole group of us was sad and the Rabbi was trying to re-assure them that all would be fine when his emotions spilled over and he began to weep too. The ladies of the house silently withdrew to another room and all that could be heard were cries and sobbing. In all of my life, and all my time with the Rabbi, I had never seen him weep like he did; loud sobs and all of us simply could not but cry when we saw him so upset. I was weeping and listening at the same time to the Rabbi. John got up and stood behind the Rabbi and put his arms around him from his back and started to hold him and comfort him, but this only made the Rabbi weep more. He was broken that day. We were used to seeing him get sad and upset from time to time, but the sound of our precious teacher sobbing so uncontrollably was just too much for any of the strong men in the room not to be caught up in the crying. How could a leader kill His cousin like that. What was John the Baptist doing so bad that deserved death? Surely this was a warning that we should not preach repentance and be as forthright as that prophet. After fifteen minutes Jesus slowed in His crying and was soon using the hem of His garment to wipe His eyes. I need to go and spend time with my Father. Let us withdraw and spend time before Him. Within twenty minutes we were in a boat and rowing across the lake. Half way across, Jesus started to weep again, once again loud sobs. It tugged at my heart so much. We depended on Jesus and it seemed that this was something a lot bigger then He could handle and it made us row harder and on that journey there was not one dry eye. We landed the boat and suddenly a crowd gathered and the sick were coming to Jesus and begging him to heal. His eyes were red and he was a broken man and we began to try and explain to the people that Jesus needed some time off today and as we began Jesus told us it was okay and He began to lay hands on the sick and began to heal them. The first in line that day was a blind man and as Jesus spoke to the blindness and rebuked it and opened his eyes He told the man that he was going to be a preacher and a healer and that he should follow Him from this day on. The second person was a young girl on a bed and she seemed about twelve. Jesus raised her to her feet and told her that she was to be a dancer and asked her to dance for Him. She beamed with joy and began to dance before Him with glee and I saw a broad smile light my Teachers face. He began to dance with the girl and prophesied that her dancing would one day be used to bring His power to meetings and others would find faith in her testimony to be healed themselves. After He healed her He called John, Andrew and me to join Him and He made signs to the people to form four lines, one line for each of us. I was filled with uneasiness when the first person stepped up to me and as I laid hands on the old man with a withered hand Jesus winked at me and the withered hand was healed and my first person was dancing with joy with the young girl. Half an hour into the healing of the people that day, Jesus eyes filled with tears again and he cried as he laid hands on people and set them free of their infirmities. There is something really touching seeing your Rabbi weep and still heal as He is crying. Inside of me I wanted to know why He was weeping, was it Johns death or was it something bigger then that. It took over an hour that day. There were five thousand men, their wives and children as well as single women. I saw some really fine healings done that day. The power that was coming through my hands was amazing. Jesus broke down at one point and the people just stood and watched Him with compassion in their eyes. It was a solemn day. The people were moved to tears as were us disciples and Jesus took a full ten minutes to gather himself together again before we began again. After everyone was healed and the poor had been given some money from our resources, Jesus sat down and delivered one of His finest teachings I ever heard Him share. He spoke of love and how love can set a nation alight and how love can heal and how important it is for us to use love to bring people to inner healing. He then told us all that John was much loved by Him and that if you do a good enough job loving people and God, evil men may kill you. He called twenty people by name that day and had them approach Him and he prophesied over them in front of all the people. He gave them to power to heal and told them that one day they would serve Him one day with us twelve. He told them that they would know the day to join His disciples but in the meantime they should heal all the sick they know and spread the love He had shared that day. As He spoke more and more people joined the crowd and after He had commissioned the twenty men, He asked the sick that had joined the crowd in the last two hours to come forward. We watched with glee as the twenty men laid hands on the sick and they were healed. The twenty men were so excited with their new power and Jesus then told the crowd that this was the power of love. It was the perfect illustration and there were deaf and dumb and cripples among the healings and the faith in the crowd had really grown on that day. The time came when Jesus blessed the five loaves and the two fish and we distributed it to the crowd. This was a mighty sign and as I walked around with my basket it was continuing to multiply as I gave the food away. Trying to come to grips with this miracle was just too much for me. The people were glad for the food and eager to hear Jesus speak more when they were all fed but Jesus had them go. Then He sent us away and we left in the boat and watched Him walk up the hill. It was the fourth watch of the night when Andrew saw something on the water. We froze with fear thinking we were seeing a ghost when Jesus told it was Him from about twenty feet away. I asked Him if I could also walk on water as faith sparked in me. It had been an awesome day. Jesus agreed and said, Come. I was thrilled to bits as I stepped onto the water and it held me up. I was walking toward Him and I was filled with such joy as I watched my Rabbi smile at me. Within six feet I took my eyes of the Master to look at how my feet were doing what I was doing. As I watched the impossible, fear gripped me and I lost my faith in what my eyes were seeing and I sank. Immediately, I looked to Jesus and cried out to Him. He shot across the water about fifteen feet in a second and pulled me back to the surface. He stood there for a second and held me looking at me and smiled and then gave me a hug. We stood on top of the water and He whispered in my ears. I am not always going to be with you Peter, you need to trust in Me and heal all the sick in this land and the lands beyond. You have to share my love and my Gospel. I am proud of all you did today especially this great sign you did today. People will be speaking of this sign years and few men will ever do this in the history of the world. Now be silent of this and let us walk back to the boat. I am going to hold your hand and we are going to go back now. He pulled away from me and we walked back to the boat to the applause of the other disciples. Jesus was no ordinary man. He is no ordinary man. He is the Son of God and He is mighty and powerful and yet He is the servant of all men. There is no man in the Universe with more power or authority as Jesus. He is exalted in heaven with the name above all names, and yet He is the lowest and the most humble and He still weeps over every person that dies without knowing Him. On this, His saddest day, when His prophet and cousin died He told me that He was crying for a number of reasons. He was crying that He couldnt personally hug and heal everyone in Israel and He couldnt set the country free and He was crying because there were so many people hungry for the Word of God and so few people with the message for them. Wont you send this article to your Christian friends? Wont you send this to your friends that dont know Jesus? Everyone knows that Jesus was supposed to have healed all those people and fed the five thousand. Yet few people know that it was on His weakest and saddest day. The Holy Spirit really does use us in our weaknesses and when we are weak we are strong as the Apostle Paul wrote. May you be blessed. I have some other stories to tell you in the future. Get Marketing Help Without Paying A Dime

By Beth Woodward Here’s a great way to market and have FUN! Whether you are the 1-on-1 person or the person who loves to be in front of a group, focus on building relationships. Relationships, especially in a service business, are imperative in building your business. There is a business relationship called Strategic Partnership. Let’s look at the difference of formal Partnership vs. Strategic Partnership Definition: Formal Partnership “A legal contract entered into by two or more persons in which each agrees to furnish a part of the capital and labor for a business enterprise, and by which each shares a fixed proportion of profits and losses.” www.answers.com Strategic Partnership/ Strategic Alliance Creating a win/win situation for both parties. Looking for someone who matches your values and integrity. You have an understanding of each other’s expectations. You have a common audience and commitment. You share resources and may even create a program together. By aligning with different strategic partners, your visibility increases by the number of each person’s database. Hence, you get to market for someone else and they are marketing for you. I can’t tell you how many entrepreneurs have told me how passionate they are about someone else’s business and they could easily market them. Well, now’s your chance. Here is a great example I use in my program. It’s called Lemonade for Sale. Yes, this is for entrepreneurs — the “big” kids who want to have fun with their marketing. Several kids have a clubhouse. It’s in need of repair so they create a Lemonade business to earn money. Their first 3 days they show an increase in business and their income from their sales is mounting. All of the sudden, on the 4th day, sales drop like a ton of bricks. They started doing a little research and found a juggler at the end of their block. All of their customers were watching the juggler. One of the kids had an idea. She approached the juggler and proposed a win/win strategic partnership. He moved his entertainment right next to their lemonade stand and they made more sales than they did all week. I’m going to leave it up to you. 1) What do you think was the win/win in this partnership agreement?Want the answer? See the link below in the resource box.2) What would you have proposed? 3) Just to get your thoughts in the right direction, think of other strategic partnerships you see everyday. Write down five. I’ll give you a hint, depending upon your geographic location… Caribou Coffee and Brueggers Bagels. 3 Key benefits of Strategic Partnerships: * Share Costs (if any)* Expand your database with barely any work involved* Having someone to toss ideas back and forth is invaluable and FUN! Who do you know that compliments your product or service? How would you search out a possibility on the Internet? How will you make your approach? Do you have a win/win in mind? If not, it’s OK. Here’s an approach I often use: Email: Hello. I was on the Internet searching for __________ and I came across your website. I’m very interested in hearing more about what you do. Would you like to take a look at my site to see if there is a connection? I would be very interested in opening up a conversation. Phone: Hello. My name is _______________. Dry Hair And Split Ends

April 16th, 2008 by cheukharrington

By Kevin Pederson Using any amount of hot air will cause your hair to dry out. Dry weather and blow drying will strip the hair of its moisture. Shampooing frequently and swimming in chlorinated pools will lead to dry hair and split ends. Hair dyes, electric curlers and permanents cause hair to dry out and have split ends. To avoid split ends, follow the following tips and keep your hair glossy: Use mayonnaise: Use a dollop of mayonnaise on the palm of the hand and massage it to the head and leave it on for five minutes before having the bath. The recommended time for the mayonnaise treatment is an hour. Spray the beer: If you do not get any respite from using the mayonnaise, you can use beer as a good setting lotion that gives your hair the crisp, healthy and shiny look. You can pour some beer into an empty pump bottle and spray on the hair after shampooing and towel dry. Then you can style or blow-dry the hair. Shampoo minimally: Though it has become fashionable to shampoo daily, it is not advisable to do so. Shampoo strips the hair of its natural oils and thus gives it a dry, limp appearance. Alternatively, choose the shampoo for the dry, damaged hair. Condition your hair: Dry hair can be benefited greatly by the use of conditioners after shampooing. The outer layers of the hair or cuticles peel away the shaft, resulting in split ends. Conditioner glues these cuticles back to the shaft and lubricates them. It also prevents the static electricity, thus preventing its frizzy appearance. Avoid heat: The heat appliances like blow-dryers, electric irons and curlers damage the hair. Instead of blow-drying the hair, you can pat dry with a towel. Replace electric curlers with unheated plastic rollers that were used in a bygone era. Straighten the hair by wrapping the slightly damp hair around the cold rollers and leave them on for about ten minutes. To curl the hair or give them a wavy appearance, use sponge rollers overnight or sleep with the moist braids. Cover your head: Wearing a hat during the windy day is the safest way to protect the hair from drying out. This way, you will also protect your hair from drying out by the sun. Cut off the split ends: Every six weeks or so, try cutting off the split ends to keep them under control. Create the Relationships You’ve Always Dreamed Of

April 14th, 2008 by cheukharrington

By Therese Emmanuel Grey Is your spouse, your teenager or your boss pushing your buttons? It doesn’t have to be that way. You can become the master of your love relationships, work relationships and family relationships. You can bring out the best in others as well as in yourself, and enjoy healthy relationships. All you have to do is to get to know your archetypes and understand theirs. Did you know that how you think, feel and relate to others is programmed by patterns you automatically picked up as a baby? These patterns consciously, subconsciously and unconsciously either bless or block every area of life. The best way to understand why you do what you do in relationships, and why other people do what they do is to get to know your automatic coping patterns. These patterns are best described through four archetypes, that play out in loving and unloving ways. The Loving Father: protection, direction, discipline, conditional love The Loved Boychild: courage, adventure, heroism, enterprise, loyalty, honor, patriotism The Loving Mother: nurturing, guiding, teaching, explaining, unconditional love The Loved Girlchild: caring, finesse, beauty, intuition, mysticism All of the problems in our lives originate from an imbalance, a clogging, or a distortion of these qualities. Unloving Father: the tyrant, the critic and the controller Unloving Mother: abandoning, spoiling or aloof Unloved Boychild: the rebel and the bully Unloved Girlchild: the victim, martyr, and soap-opera queen In 1990, psychologist Caroline Hanstke and Brian Emmanuel Grey discovered that we filter life through these four universal energies. Once you can “read” these archetypes, you can change your circumstances and enjoy healthy relationships. It’s like pressing the “reveal codes” on an old IBM computer. You tune into the underlying energy as to why people think, feel or behave the way they do. Then you learn to speak the same energetic language, so that your relationship problems can fade away. Whether you are looking for marriage counseling or relationship counseling, dating advice, customer relationship management, parenting tips, anger management or spiritual healing, understanding and working with your archetypes is the first step to wholeness. Your archetypes consciously, subconsciously and unconsciously either bless or block every area of life. Once you understand your pattern, you can unlock your hidden potential to be your best self. You can break free from self-sabotaging habits you may not even be aware of. You can rewrite your life script and truly make the most of what the universe has given you. How do you respond to life? At your best, are you constructive, outgoing and motivated? Are you reserved, intuitive and caring? Do you mother everyone? When things don’t go your way, do you get angry or depressed? Do you get anxious in groups for no apparent reason? Is it hard for you to fit in? Recognizing your archetypes helps you to understand how you and others process and share the experience of life. Then, you can work to transcend your limitations by striving to access and emphasize loving energies in any given situation. Doing so will make you more competent. The emphasis of loving energies fosters the emotional intelligence you need to be steadfast, kind, and authentic. It will bring out the best in yourself and in others so you can enjoy healthy relationships. Our archetypes are like a toolbox. We can draw upon the best archetype for every situation and person we come in contact with. This dramatically transforms how we come across to others and also influences how they relate back to us. Generally, people who function from a strong Father archetype pursue the law. They tend to have strong boundaries and seek to download a blueprint for every situation. When their Father energy goes out of balance and becomes unloving, they can become harsh and critical toward themselves and others. People who express a strong Mother archetype live to nurture life. They love to guide and teach others, and provide stability in any given situation. When they are threatened, they respond by either going aloof or by smothering those around them with a spoiling mechanism. Either way, they avoid further giving of themselves. People who have a strong Boychild archetype are go-getters in life. They are highly competitive and do whatever it takes to reach their goal. When their archetype goes negative, they become overcompetitive, aggressive, and tend to run over others. People who have a strong Girlchild archetype go with the flow. They experience life through serendipity. They are highly creative, caring and intuitive. When their sensitivity is trampled, however, the unloving side of Girlchild takes over. They become victim-martyrs and experience a lot of anxiety. Everyone uses their four inner family archetypes in different conscious, subconscious, superconscious or unconscious combinations. These combinations reveal a lot about our personality. A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever! And that can be You!

April 10th, 2008 by cheukharrington

By Mike Yeager It is said that a thing of beauty is a joy forever. That probably explains why possessing beauty and being beautiful is one of the foremost preoccupations of human beings. Over the years, consumerism has transformed such preoccupations into frank obsession. Inner beauty is no longer in skin-deep beauty certainly is! But what is wrong with that? Cosmetology and the beauty industry have come of age, aided steadily by advances in cosmetic surgery. Daily workouts, gym sessions, visits to beauty parlors and keeping in sync with beauty and fashion tips has certainly become trendy. Enhancing your beauty. Beauty is in the eye of its beholder. Perfect beauty is but an illusion, but if you can feel good about yourself by enhancing your looks, you may find more joy in your life. And it is not too difficult to achieve. The media is full of beauty tips and beauty products. Beauty supplies are always at hand be it at the Shopping Mall or on the Net. However, it is beautiful to be simple and yet simple to be beautiful. One can surely start from ones home itself. Maintain a regulated lifestyle. Six to eight hours of sleep with fixed times for fixed quantity meals, avoidance of “junk” food and high calorie stuff, lots of fluid intake, high priority for vitamin-rich fruits and a rigid regime of self-discipline, would certainly make a good start in ones quest for beauty. Three Major Factors Causing Depression And Easy Steps To Avoid Them !

April 10th, 2008 by cheukharrington

By Christopher Ruane Although depression is a very common, oft-mentioned disorder, we really need to take a look at what causes depression in the first place. The factors that contribute to depression are well-known, and well-researched, however what causes it is not yet fully understood. Recent studies have helped uncover some of the factors that contribute to the likelihood of people developing depression. Stress Stress is the all-time great winner of the depression-causing awards. Any stressful environment or situation could lead to depression - social stress, worrying about jobs, problems in relationships, financial worries, staying up late, irregular and uncontrolled lifestyle, pressures of studying and getting good grades. Other events that could cause depression are: death among acquaintances, change of work, moving to a new home, etc. While these events cannot be avoided, we must come up with an effective stress coping and handling mechanism to be able to thrive even in stressful situation. Drinking and Drug Use People who take drugs and alcohol are more predisposed to experiencing depression. When these substances are used at a young age, they can truly have a profound effect on a persons brain. Although these substances help make the person feel good temporarily, they often become addictive. Drugs release dopamine within the pleasure center of the brain, just like other pleasurable experiences do. Take this for instance: delicious food boosts dopamine release by about 50 percent. Sex, on the other hand, doubles this number. However, drugs can increase dopamine release anywhere from four to ten times. This unnatural high almost certainly leads to depression after the high subsides. This cocktail of substance is the surest way to fry brain circuitry. Drugs make a person depressed more than it makes him happy. This effect will spiral downward until the person doing drugs will want more and more of the substance to break the cycle of depression that follows each high. Thus an addiction is born. Lack of sleep Studies show that up to 40 percent of adults do not get the proper amount of sleep per day. And among students, up to 71 percent complain of sleep disorders and lack of sleep. Sleep is an integral part of a persons health. During sleep, the body repairs itself and reorganizes thought. Lack of sleep contributes to a lack of coherence in brain waves. This scenario often leads to depression. Sleeping during the day and staying up late also interferes with the body’s natural rhythms. This will also lead to a sense of depression. Here are few ways on how to prevent depression. Sleep is an integral part of preventing depression. Balance your life with enough rest and exercise everyday. Go for seven to eight hours of sleep per day. Try to keep some regularity in your life. Keep your activities organized so that they can come at expected and regular intervals. If your weekly, daily or monthly routine is set then your body has time to get used to the activities. This will lead to a reduced chance for depression to set in. Don’t endanger your health by pushing yourself beyond your limits. Keep stress in check and try to avoid stressors if you can. If you cannot, then try to deal with the stressors in a manner that mitigates the damage it may cause. Sunlight and exercise can help the brain to function a higher level. Be sure to catch some rays in the morning and try to stay active in the daylight when possible. Keep yourself away from substances such as alcohol and drugs. They may seem attractive at first, but all they really do is cause havoc in a persons life. Make at least one warm meal daily a priority. Good eating habits and good health are important when keeping one away from depression. Have some fun every day. Nothing takes the load off of depression like some good old fun time. Make sure that every day you devote a little time to some simple, natural, healthy fun. Social activities such as chatting, joining a support group sports, and other hobbies can do wonders towards healing a stressed out and busy mind. Depression can be avoided and treated. And the fun fact is, it can be fun doing so. Follow the above mentioned tips for a sunnier and happier disposition every day. You will look and feel better for it and will never regret not overloading yourself! Split Shot Bass Sneak Attack

April 7th, 2008 by cheukharrington

By Craig DeFronzo The Split shot rig is a finesse version of a fish finding rig along the lines of but not quite the Carolina Rig. Too many anglers dismiss this method as being too slow or a small fish method. The truth is that it is a deadly finesse method that can cover water as efficiently and as quickly as the Carolina rig. The split shot method also is a great way to catch limits of keeper sized bass. What tournament angler could dispute the success of that? Split shotting is a fairly shallow water finesse technique that works best in depths under 20 feet. It can be worked deeper but the sensitivity decreases as the depth increases. For anglers who arent confident in their worm fishing abilities, the split shot rig is actually nothing like traditional worm fishing. This method is a cast and crank method that can be more easily compared to crank bait fishing than to worm fishing. The tiny 4inch curly tailed worms are in constant motion on the bottom so it might be even more effective than cranking because the bait stays in the strike zone longer. However simple this may sound, you can increase the effectiveness of the technique by seining the bottom. By this I mean using different casting angles and boat positioning to essentially saturate a grid or area. This way you can potentially present the bait to every fish within a determined area. Not Just Another Carolina rig The Split Shot may resemble a Carolina rig but it is different. To tie the rig you must eliminate the bullet sinker. Instead, you just crimp a piece of shot, two or three feet above the Texas rigged bait. I most often distance the shot about 18 to 24 inches above the bait. It is important to use only round shot without the tabs. The tabs will always catch on the weeds and foul the rig. Use size 2 or 4 shot. Make sure you dont fray the line when you crimp the shot down on it. I prefer softer shot to prevent damaging the line. Water Gremlin, makers of weights and sinkers for fishing has introduced its Bull Shot. This is a bullet weight or conical shaped weight with a new twist. Like its famous squeezable split shot weights that crimp on to the line, Bull Shot weights have the same premise. Here you can place your bullet weight above the hook in any desired length. Just squeeze it on and it will stay in place. Gone are the days of multi knot rigs. It is a quick and easy way to rig up your soft plastics. This may be the best alternative if avoiding weeds and snags are your concern. The pointed shape comes through snags with ease and takes this rig to a new dimension. This is a true finesse rig. Using this rig requires an angler to scale down his/her tackle. A four-inch bait is about the largest an angler should use. Employ a size 1/0 or size 1 Aberdeen style hook. Rig the bait on the seam. This along with the Aberdeen hook is a straight shank style and creates a keel to prevent the bait from rolling thus eliminating line twist. That is the key to the natural swimming motion of this bait. Fine diameter line and light spinning gear are necessary for this technique. I use a 6 or 6-6 foot ML spinning rod and 6lb test for this technique. Employ the split shot rig when fishing in depths shallower than 20 feet. Any deeper and youll lose contact with the bait. The split shot retrieve is slow and steady. Maximum bottom contact is essential. You simply have to keep the weight in contact with the bottom. This technique is perfect for locating concentrations of bass. Especially when coordinated to cover a specific area from multiple angles. Because the bait is always in motion, wind won’t hamper its success. Wind can put a serious damper on regular worm fishing such as a Texas rig. The split shot rig is less affected by wind because you are constantly moving it. Split shotting is deadly when fishing used water. If I’m fishing behind another boat, chances are that I am throwing a split shot rig to the water that has already been covered by that boat. The split shot method excels in heavily fished waters. That is the beauty of this method. One area in which this method excels is locating fish around uninteresting areas. Most anglers will beat visible cover or structure they see on their LCDs to death. While you can catch fish in these places on split shot rigs, the rig may be better suited for use in boring areas without heavy cover. These boring areas are usually passed over by other anglers and they likely dont receive any exploration because those anglers cant see anything attractive to hold bass. One particular day I was on an 85 acre pond that was hosting a bass tournament by a local B.A.S.S. chapter. The water was crowded with 15 or so boats and all of the water was used up. Immediately I rigged a split shot worm and I proceeded to catch a limit of decent bass. From what I heard, the participants didnt fair as well. This proved to me how valuable an option this rig is. It took fish in water that was used by skilled anglers. This rig is a good choice when trying to locate fish on an unfamiliar lake. It is often the first tactic I’ll try on new waters. When a cold front is passing through the split shot may be the only bait that gets consistent attention from bass. Anglers must learn to recognize the strike on a split shot rig. It differs from the telltale tap-tap of the Texas rig. The split shot bite tends to feel like a mushy sensation or the feeling of added pressure on the line. Bass do tend to hold onto the bait a bit longer than traditionally rigged worms. The lack of a sliding weight for a bass to feel in its mouth likely is the reason. This set up is just more natural. As with many of the techniques in this book, it might be best to learn what the rig feels like being retrieved unimpeded. Because you will be bumping of bottom with it, you may be in for a tough time recognizing strikes. Just remember that hook sets are free and if you feel anything out of the ordinary, swing on it. One caution with this rig, because you are using light line, try to sweep set the rod sharply to one side of your body. I utilize a set similar to the Slider sweep. You do not want to pop your line by setting too hard with the tiny line. Bass seem to hold on to the bait because of the weightless feeling coupled with the small amount of slack line between the split shot and the bait. Hand poured worms along with standard grubs, reapers and lizards work well on a split shot rig. One of the best worms for this is the Curly Tail worm from Robo Worm. This is made specifically for the Shot techniques. This is a tiny 4 inch worm that features some wicked hand poured colors. It has a curly tail that is rigged tail down to offset any line twist by being inline with the keel that the Aberdeen hook creates. The worms are scented and salted and bass simply do not drop once they once them up. Ive been using some of the new Cyberflexx baits that really float high off the bottom on this rig. They are very effective and this is a good way to seine the water. The floating bait opens up another dimension to the split shot rig. Now you can cover water above the bottom. This is helpful when fish are suspending a few feet off the bottom. Anytime is Split Shot time An angler should recognize the best times to use this method. I use it as a fish finding tool on unfamiliar waters. If you put an easy meal in front of any bass, it is going to tell you something every time. Obviously, if you are simply patterning fish incorrectly, the rig may not be of use to you. If you use it where they live, it will draw a reaction and usually quickly at that. I initially target, sloping primary and secondary points with the rig. From there, I move to small shallow humps, sand bars and depressions, flats and sandy bottom areas. Perhaps one of the best places to utilize the split shot rig is on bare or nothing banks. These areas visually dont look as sweet as say a submerged log jam or weed bed. For this reason, they are often overlooked and passed by most target fishing anglers. The truth of the matter is that bass will be in these areas and often it is because the bottom offers something that the target angler doesnt even know is there. The rig also works well when pulled over shallow flats, sloping points, sandy banks, boat launch ramps and sandbars. Try it in non-traditional fishing spots. Locate bass daily migration routes and try this rig. Many times when fish are spooky, traditional baits wont raise a strike, the split shot rig may be just the ticket to catching a bass with lockjaw. Target spots that other fishermen ignore; bare banks, swimming areas and shallow sandy flats are among the choicest of areas. The Basic Rule of any Long Distance E-mail Correspondence

April 5th, 2008 by cheukharrington

By Irina Chernoff The concept of your first letter It must include some information. If you are writing a letter you have at least seen her picture. If you are curious you have read her profile and know about her hobbies, preferences and so on. You are already communicating with her in your thoughts but she knows nothing about you. You are a clean sheet of paper for her or something you have written on this sheet! If you write something like, Hi there! I am Michael from Canada. I will glad to receive a letter from you you can expect the answer of the most desperate woman or a scam. Want it? Introduce yourself. Tell her what exactly you liked in her profile. Tell her about yourself in a nutshell (your character, likes and dislikes, life values, the traits of a persons nature that you appreciate). You are intended to marry, so tell her your ideas about marriage on the whole. Just dont give too much information. It doesnt sound good if you start describing the whole history of your family in the first letter so that it takes 9 pages (no matter how exciting it can be(). Avoid monologues. Ask her some questions about her, her country, work, pets and so on. Let her feel your sincere interest! A little humorous shade is always appreciable! Be friendly and romantic. And of course, say compliments! Make sure not to forget to attach your pictures! It will help you avoid misunderstanding in future. Evidently, your picture must be of hi-fi quality. It would be better if you were alone eon your picture. Dont make your girl think about the person embracing your shoulder if this persons hand can bee seen only. It does not further falling in love with you!( Children or pets are allowed. But dont forget to comment on them. Ask your woman to answer you even if she rejects your attention. Of course, all serious agencies can give you this service, but if you mention it in you letter the woman you are writing to will realize you are serious. Perhaps, this very fact will shatter her doubts concerning your decency!
